Decide to upload some pics of my Hongkong Trip..geez...Lost my memory card in Ocean Park, so lost all the nice fotos taken on the 1st 3 days...Luckily yachin is responsible for taking scenary and foodie fotos with her hp..so all is not lost..Still got a little pics left...*Sobz* So better upload when my memory is still fresh...

Day 2: Repulse Bay, Aberdeen Fishing Village, Lautau Island and Avenue of Stars
Repulse Bay is a wonderful place..The plc where all the pics are lost coz only my camera has it. True regret, it is one of the most beautiful beaches in HK.
Then is Aberdeen fishing village - another plc that i really like. Saw many yatchs.. And saw the yatch of Stanley Ho- the 3rd richest man in HK!!

Day 3: The fateful day where I lost the memory card... But me and chin took all the thrilling rides there..including the ride that went as high up to somewhere 20 storeys or more and drop down in split second~!!
It is so scary taking the cable car lor...coz they having construction there..And half-way thru, the cable care actually stopped, while we hang in mid-air!!!

The 4th cake I have..my dear daddy bought it for me~!!! So sweet, rite?  The vibrant youths in my district~!!! Haha, last year my 21st bday also spent in zalankai and cic meeting..This year, I tot wont clash anymore coz mine is always on a Sat. But in the end, due to some circumstances, it was changed to Sun which falls on my birthday once again. Seems like my bday is for kosenrufu~!! But I really enjoy it..Wat can be more happy to spend my birthday doing kosenrufu~~   Really thanks so much to my dear district~!! I cant say just how much I love my 宝贝们! Thou my stay here is not long, I truly feel as one big family. And the support & love they have given me over the past 1 year.. Really appreciate that!! Huggs~!!   Thanks NTUSD for the cake and the happy birthday song played by dear yufei. I wasnt expecting this..very surprised & happy...thanks to all~!!   Celebration @ New York New York yesterday...So funni. I was asked to block the whole day for them, when in the end only meet at night.. But really thanks so much...nice to meet up~!!! Happy Haloween too.. We tend to attribute our unhappiness to the external environment. Many a times, happiness or unhappiness is not determined by our external environment. No doubt they provide the stimulus, but the decision to be happy or not exists within us. Life is really a struggle. But more precisely, I feel that it is a tug of war that take place not outside us, but inside us.
To win or to lose, to be happy or not be be, to progress or regress, it all depends on our resolve, our determination, our life-state.
The going in life is indeed tough. But is it because of the struggles or difficulties in life that makes people unhappy? Or is it because that we are just not strong enough?
This is something I have been pondering over. I lost count of how many times I attribute my unhappiness to work. But I started to think am I really unhappy because of the work? Or the problem just lies with me? Maybe I am just not strong enuff, that y I am becoming less happy and more insecure, allowing all my long dormant fundamental darknesses to re-emerge.
I will set new resolutions. I must do my human revolution and win for the sake of kosenrufu and my 宝贝们. | |

Just some of my tots after visiting the above webby. As I sit in office today, other than feeling the tremor of the earthquake twice, I feel even more strongly than before about the world we are living in. With more & more natural disasters, I begin to wonder if this is the effects of the causes that we, people have implanted.
Terrorism, natural disasters, weather changes..it just reminds me of something related to Buddhism..bt i just skip tat...
I have always adored topics like feminist movemnent & terrorism. The reason being that underlying these problems are the root cause of discrimation & prejudice, lack of truly humanistic education, & maybe poverty. There are many problems in the society today, but we have to go beyond the surface into the root causes in order to solve any problems. If not, it is simply "治标不治本”。
I still rem when i told my fren last time that "We must save the Earth, u know recently it has been raining alot in Singapore. And in China, half of the country is in drought, the other half is having flood. We are progressing at the expense of our environment. So now we must save the Earth. Don waste water & save electricity" (also in response to the 070707 Live Earth)
My ex-collegue's response: "Aiyo, who cares about saving the Earth. Cant even save myself alreadi."
Then when i told my frens that we must save water & electricity to save the Earth..they were gg "Yalor, if not the bills very expensive. Must save $$". This shows a basic tendency in many of us..We have become too pre-occupied with our own needs, problems and interests, that we failed to realli see the needs of our immediate environment. 怎么办？？
Or it is just that we tend to view ourselves and the environment as separate entities..But this is definitely not true. John Donne said tat "No man is an Island", becoz althou islands appears to be separated from each other by wide expanse of water, but actually at the bottom of the ocean, they are all parts of the same Earth. (right?) So the pt is althou pple appears to be separate from one another and our physical environment, BUT in the very depths of life, we are all part of the great cosmic life-force. People, we n the environment, we are all connected~!!
So, it is not just about ME or YOU! it is about US as a whole. So, lets make an effort to make our environment, our world a better place to live. We can all make a difference.

Quite tired after working OT till late nights for the past week..nw tat the financials r over, next week have to chiong to clear the backlog & subsequent video conferences & meetings lined up next week.. Also many changes gg on in my workplace recently, esp my team. Jia you hui hsien!! I must rise above obstacles & uncertainities.
Recently a fren highlighted tat in major acquistion, retrenchment will be inevitable. If RBS successfully acquire ABN AMBRO, most likely, newbies like us are the ones to go. Actually, I am quite scared coz both are big banks. Haha, hopefully this will not happen to me. I love my job thou it is tiring, it is challenging.
Decided to sign up for a professional operations course in additon to SOTC recently..which means STUDYING! nv used to like studying back in sch..bt nw that i started working, the thirst for knowledge increases..maybe becoz now i can see how the stuffs i studied can tie in to my work. I hope to do my CFA next year...this course will prepare me for the tough CFA everyone is toking about. Hehe....devious plan. Haha.

Have been eating at restaurants average 4 days a week for lunch recently.. At this rate, I am gg to be broke soon. But coz working hours lunch alot of pple, so queuing up waste alot of time. Restaurants are better and another reason is I like to eat good food comfortably..Hehe, most my $$ are always spent on food....

So tired...reached yachin's home at 6am plus today..only slept for 3 hrs and i m now home~!! coz haven prepare for later family day meeting at night..still nid abit of preparation before gg for homevisit in the afternoonso i cant sleep in... Jia you~!! =)
But it was so much fun yesterday~!! Haha..think with yachin, everytime go out also very joker.....went to a pub yesterday to find my ywd coz haven been able to meet up with her recently..thks brandon & mike to pei me go there coz i know there abit 乱. But i realli hope my 宝贝 can feel my sincerity & can help her with her human revolution. I must jia you lots. After drinking, we decided to go sing ktv @ chinatown....after that grace came to join after work..coz my office very near to chinatown also. Haha, but halfway thru, i alrdy sleeping inside~~ !! too tired le with my contact lenses on...Think i realli nt suitable for late nights. *sobz* At 5plus, mike drove us to eat supper or shld i say breakfast before gg hm.
And so funni...the whole night yachin keeps asking hypothetical qns and those 色情 stuffs even thou it is the very first time she meet up with my frens.. Makes me laugh until i stomachache during dinner. Thou tiring, it was quite fun yesterday with lotsa laughters.
But I do hope i can last thru-out today.. Jia you!! Have strong life-force..cant fall asleep!!

Last sat was NTUSD O&g...the whole event was fun..bt the most touching part was actually when my dearie yufei passed me the letter + poems she wrote specially for me. Indeed, i tasted true comrade-ship. Still rem when i first know ah fei, she was more quiet n of different personality from me..But in the past 1 yr, i think we grew to become true comrades & sisters. Will definitely miss the times spent tog!! Girl, jia you wor to win both in studies & kosenrufu. I got faith in you coz u r my source of inspiration too!! N like wat i have always said the offer to be always here for you no matter wat happens will stand 4eva. Huggs~!! N thks girl so much once again. =)
And last sunday was my district 1st family day celebration.. One of the senior advisor that first time came here, said that this is his first time to see a district with so many youths..half of the attendees is youth n the other the adult division. Indeed, youths always take the lead in my district, thks to the support of the adult division. Acutalli I have to say tat I m very inspired by the ymds in my district...thou young, they are more sensible than many kids of their age & their heart for kosen-rufu..have learnt so much frm them~!!

I know sometimes i refuse to & didnt realli want to comment on it..coz i m still struggling in process..when i have victory, then i will definitely say..so in the meantime, i will jia you first. Life is a continous struggles.. it is hard but isnt that wonderful? Coz life is a process of unlimitless learning!!!
